Renovations, furnishings and new kitchen in a house which originally lacked a cohesive style. To unify the disjoint spaces, a mix of prairie style and Japanese elements were combined. (One of the owners is Japanese.) |

Elements in the new kitchen include beechwood cabinetry, wide plank flooring to match the rest of the house and a patterned colored concrete fireplace surround. Appliances and counters are set at custom heights to accommodate the owner's height. |
